CONJUNTO SABROSO

CONJUNTO SABROSO is the only UK based Latin band whose line-up is in the classic Conjunto style (which features a tres guitar alongside the baby bass and the piano). CONJUNTO SABROSO is fronted by a charismatic singer from Colombia, LUZ-ELENA CAICIDO and directed by the virtuoso bass player REY CRESPO from Cuba. With the addition of two brass and a strong percussion section, CONJUNTO SABROSO is a combo with a deeply authentic Latin swing.

They have now released a five song CD and have been awarded two Arts Council grants to tour the UK. Recently, the band has been invited to play in Beijing, China which was a great educational experience for all the band members.

AFROMAMBO! by Musiques Sans Frontiéres is a UK-based multicultural music agency promoting World Music and Danceable Jazz (jump/jive and swing, South African township, Latin jazz and funk).
We book London-based as well as touring artists and bands.
We normally work with well-established outfits, but as we also develop artists, we occasionally book up-and-coming acts.
We have a special interest in - and relationships with - bands and artists from French-speaking African and Caribbean countries, and with Cuban bands on tour.
